Back in the north pole, Santa clause and Mrs.Clause were both having a cup of tea. There was a ton of time till Christmas.              “Mrs.Clause, I’ve been thinking, It’s the middle of summer What will I do until Christmas? I want to go on an adventure!” Santa clause exclaimed as his face was stuffed with tea and cookies. 

    “Oh Santa, where will you possibly find an adventure? Where even will you go? With whom will you go? You know I certainly cannot come someone has to take care of everything.” 

    Hmmm… Mrs.Clause was right, he can’t go alone nor does he even know where to go! Then it hit him, the elves! Of course! The elves could build anything, perhaps they could build a time machine! He walked down to the workshop and saw the head elf, Happy. 

    “Happy elf? Would you mind doing me a favour?” 

    “Of course Santa! Anything for you!” 

    “Great! Can you maybe build me a time machine?” The elf looked intrigued and finally beamed

     “Of course Santa! Anything for you!” Santa was thrilled with joy and went to share the news with Mrs.Clause, and most certainly she was just as thrilled! All the elves started working and working till the time machine was finally done. 

    Santa was so excited! He had finally picked a place and date to go to, the age of the dinosaurs! The next day Santa walked into the workshop happily until he remembered something. 

    “I need someone to go with me, Mrs.Clause can’t come then who will?” Then it hit him, one of the elves could tag along! And he knew just the elf. 

    “Happy elf?” 

    “Yes, Santa clause?” 

    " would you like to accompany me on my adventure?” Happy elf was so Happy he beamed out a loud 

    “YES”. 

    Then Santa and Happy elf got into the time machine and time travelled to the age of the dinosaurs.

    Happy and Santa got out of the time machine and stared in awe at the sight they were seeing. There were rivers waterfalls exotic plants and animals! They even saw some baby dinosaurs! As they soon ventured further and further into the forest they spotted some sort of a creature, it was big, it had sharp teeth, it had a large nose, and it had a huge tail! It was a dinosaur! It was ginormous, it was about 40 feet tall! It looked vicious and hungry… It was a T-rex, a very hungry one too! It chased both Santa and Happy elf deep into the woods. Oh no! Now they were far far away from the time machine! And they could be anywhere! They finally lost the T-rex and hid inside a small cave, but they soon realized they were lost! 

    “Santa! I believe we are lost!” Happy elf shook in fear  

    “Indeed we are Happy elf, oh no.” they stayed there till the next day hiding, poor Santa and Happy elf. 

    The next morning Happy and Santa decided to go and look for the Time machine. They walked and walked for hours. Suddenly, they heard a faint beeping sound, the time machine! They followed the sound till they reached it. Oh, they couldn’t be any happier! They hopped inside and went back to their timeline, only to see everybody waiting for them! The rest of the elves cheered and clapped to see them back safely, Santa thanked the elves and went back to his room. He was so tired he fell right to bed! 

    “That’s enough adventuring for today,” he mumbled before he went into his deep slumber. The end.
