pilgrims and "strangers."

on the beach where they landed. They named this rock
Plymouth Rock.

winter ground, so they had little food. Many people got sick
because they were cold and hungry.

governor to peacefully lead the settlement.

native American, was the interpreter and negotiator
with the Indian tribe's chief.
