a box that is addressed for him to open on his 13th birthday. The
box claims to hold the meaning of life that his father, who passed
away made for him. Jeremy's best friend Lizzy, a trouble maker
but very noisy, convinced him to open the box when they receive
it, but unfortunately the keys to open they box are lost.

keeping, Jeremy wants to learn more about whats inside and why his father
kept it so secretive, even from his mom. When Jeremy's mom gets home,
she proudly hands him the box, due to the fact that she knows he would find
out someday. Now Jeremy is determined to find whats in the box, with the help
of him best friend, Lizzy.

They meet in the morning and head to Larry's Locks and Clocks. Larry
senior tells them that the box is very complex, so they go to the subway
and head the the flea market.

an old man and woman, a teenage girl, and a couple. The old man and woman,
and the girl weren't very helpful, but then they cam across a couple. the couple
gave them 6 keys, but only 2 of them fit. So then they turn to Plan "F."

and office,where they believe Jeremy's mom friend Harold
lost the keys, to find the keys.

they were stop to get some questions asked.
The police officer asked for their names, and
school ID. They were very anxious, and scared.

unfortunately, police officers were packed
outside and they got caught. They are forced
to do community service. Picking up trash or
helping and old man, Mr. Oswald. Of course
Lizzy speaks for her and Jeremy, and picks Mr.
Oswald.

who appreciates them helping him. They
get to his house and and he notices the box.
He offers to warp it up for protection, but the
kids smell something fishing going with his
connection with the box.

To the kids surprise, she must know Mr. Oswald very close since she calls
him "Ozzy." The kids, and James, Mr.Oswald driver, know nobody that calls Mr.
Oswald, Ozzy. The kids later find out that Ozzy was is Mr.Oswald late grandfather,
and the kids want to know answers on why Mr.Oswald didn't tell them about Ms.
Billingsly and his grandfather.

find out that the book was for Ms.Billingsly from Ozzy. So
now they know why Ms. Billingsly didn't expect them to give
her a package from Ozzy, not to mention that he is dead.

When he receives the lamp, Jeremy asks him if he thinks of meaning of life, because he's
noticing all these strange
things happening with Mr.Oswald, Ozzy, and his friends. In the end, all these
questions come back to the box, and how the box claims to have meaning of life.

to be left alone and to think. On the other hand, Lizzy
makes him get out of bed, because Samantha, the new
neighbor, says she has a way to open the box, to call
the spirits of Jeremy dad, Daniel Fink and get the keys.
Of course, her plan fails, and it all comes back to finding
they keys in order to open the mysterious box.
