Once upon a time, there lived a little red 

seahorse named Kevin.   He lived in a 

small community of fish under the sea.  

His two best friends, Bonnie and Clyde, 

lived two corals down from him.

One day, Bonnie and Clyde came over for 

brunch and had a very funny joke to tell 

him!

"Why wouldn't the shrimp share his 

toys?" asked Clyde.

"Well, I don't know." said Bonnie.

"Why wouldn't the shrimp share his toys?" asked 

Kevin unable to figure out his joke.

"Well...," Clyde goes on. "Oh no! I forgot the end 

of the joke!   We have to find out the answer!"

"Who did you hear this joke from?" asked Kevin.

"We have to go see Sandy the octopus.   She is 

the one who told me the joke, but..." Clyde 

shrugged.

"Sandy lives on the other side of the 

cliff.   It is very dangerous to get there, 

but I think with the three of us ,we will 

be safe!"

"Great! Lets go!" says Bonnie, eager for 

the journey ahead.

As the three friends approached there 

first obstacle, it was clear that this was 

not going to be an easy trip.

After a little convincing, Kevin, Bonnie, and 

Clyde were able to get through the swarm of 

dangerous fish.   They were only halfway, 

however.   The last obstacle to Sandy was the 

scariest yet.   They had to go through the dark 

waters in order to reach her.

"You sure we will be okay?" asked Kevin with a 

long, slow breath.

"Sure we will!" answered Clyde with confidence 

in his voice, although he wasn't sure at all.
