For Eli, who has been my dear friend for a long time

There once was a little explorer that wished to find a mystic book of golden pages.
According to the tales told in town, this book had the power to make whatever was written on it come true.
He desired that power to help his sister, who had a terrible disease that couldn't be cured even by the most talented healers in town.

That's why, he started his journey.
He traveled across the woods, ponds and small mountains to get to the mystic forest, where the book was hidden.

I hope I get to the mystic forest soon!
When the little explorer was about to sit and rest for a while, he realized he got into a very mysterious place.
The weather was cold and a single sound could not be heard, apart from the soft whisper of the skeleton-like trees.

Hello...?

"This must be the place." The explorer said, looking around, an then checking his map.
It was the right place, but there was nothing interesting to the naked eye.
After searching for a few minutes, something weird caught his attention. It was a little door on a tree trunk.

When he peeked through the tiny window of the door, he saw a room full of tiny things.
Among them, there was a book with a brown leather cover and goldish sheets.
He was so happy, he finally found the golden paged book! But something was wrong...
How was he supposed to take it and write on it with that size?
Suddenly, someone showed up inside the tiny room. It was a fairy.
"Hello?" The boy said "Excuse me, Ms. fairy"
When she saw him, she got scared and hid from view
"Wait, no! I just need to ask you something!"

"I am looking for a book with golden pages, the one you have! I would be so grateful if you could give it to me."
The fairy stared back at him and said with a shrill voice:
"My book? Why do you need it?"

"I want to write something on it! I heard it can make what you write come true" He replied. "Please, I need my sister to be ok again!"
The fairy took the book from the shelf and gave him a suspicious look.
"This is a very delicate relic, and it shouldn't be taken by anyone!"

"She's hurting, you don't understand!" He yelled with tears in his eyes "I'll take it, whether you want it or not!"
With that been said, the little explorer opened the door violently and put his hand inside the poky house, trying to take the book.
The fairy screamed and escaped like a butterfly that wants to get caught.
When he finally took the book, he opened it, trying to find a way to write on its magic golden pages. He could only fit a few words on each page.
When he was done writing his wish, he waited for some magic light to come out of it, or any sign that it had worked, but nothing happened.
"How strange... Maybe I need to go check up on my sister and see if she's better"
