    Güneşli bir bahar günü Miranda odasında resim ödevini yaparken çok sıkılmıştı. Öğretmeni onlardan bir orman resmi yapmalarını istemişti. Oysa Miranda ormanın resmini yapmak değil şu an tam da her bir köşesini avcunun içi gibi bildiği Büyük Meşe Ormanı'nın içinde olmak istiyordu. Daha haftasonuna çok vardı, ailesiyle ormanda yürüyüş yapmak , ormanın bir parçası olmak onun en sevdiği histi. Yürüyüş yaparken şarkı söyler, ormanla iletişime geçtiğini hayal ederdi. Bu düşüncelerle resmini çizerken bir ses duydu. Gözlerine inanamadı ,camın önündeki  bir sincap mıydı yoksa? Yavaş ve sessizce cama doğru yaklaştı. Sincapla göz göze geldiler. Sincap sanki beni takip et diyordu. Miranda heyecandan ne yapacağını şaşırdı, bir rüyanın içinde gibiydi...

    One sunny spring day, Miranda was bored in her room while she was doing her homework. His teacher had asked them to paint a forest painting. However, Miranda didn't want to paint the forest, she wanted to be in the Great Oak Forest, where she knew every corner of it like the back of her hand. It was long before the weekend, walking in the forest with his family, being a part of the forest was his favorite feeling. He used to sing while hiking, dreaming of communicating with the forest. While he was painting his picture with these thoughts, he heard a voice. He couldn't believe his eyes, was it a squirrel in front of the window? Slowly and silently, he approached the glass. They came face to face with the squirrel. It was as if the squirrel was saying follow me. Miranda was stunned by excitement, it was like she was in a dream...

Miranda hemen gelmelisin. Yardımına ihtiyacımız var. Meşe ormanı tehlikede. Orman yolunda nehrin kenarında çıkan yangın rüzgarın da etkisiyle hızla evimize doğru ilerliyor. Yuvam kardeşlerim, ailem, palamutlarım ve orman sakinleri dostlarım tehlikede. Miranda bize bir tek sen yardım edebilirsin bu ormanı en iyi sen tanıyorsun ve ormanla iletişime geçebilen tek kişi sensin.    

Miranda, you have to come right away. We need your help. The oak forest is in danger. The fire, which broke out on the forest road by the river, is rapidly moving towards our house with the effect of the wind. My home brothers, my family, my acorns and my forest-dwelling friends are in danger. Miranda, only you can help us, you know this forest best and you are the only one who can communicate with it.

Orman yolunda nehrin kenarında yangın demek! İyi de ben nasıl yardım edebilirim ki sıradan küçük 12 yaşında bir kızım ben. 

It means fire by the river on the forest road! But how can I help, I'm just an ordinary little 12-year-old girl.

                    Miranda çok şaşırmıştı, ormanla iletişime                   geçebildiğini bilmiyordu ,heyecanla sincabı dinledi. Ormanla konuşmak için şarkısını söylemesi gerekiyordu. Her hafta sonu o şarkıyı söylerdi ama ormanın onu duyabildiğini hatta anladığını bilmiyordu...

    Miranda was so surprised, she didn't know she could communicate with the forest, she listened excitedly to the squirrel. He had to sing his song to talk to the forest. He used to sing that song every weekend, but he didn't know that the forest could hear or even understand him...

Miranda şarkısını söylemeye başladı. Bir anda bir ses duydu. Ağaçlar konuşmaya başladı. Hepsi telaşla bir şeyler söylüyor, bütün sesler birbirine karışıyordu. Miranda çok şaşırdı. Ve şarkısını söylemeye devam etti.  Bekle bizi Büyük Meşe Ormanı!

Miranda ve sincap nehrin kenarındaki yola doğru koşmaya başladı şarkısını söylüyordu :

Sesimi dinleyin ağaçlar ! Beni duyabiliyorsanız seslenin bana .. Miranda Miranda!

Bir ağaç sesi duyuldu: Miranda nehirdeki suyu ve rüzgarı kullanarak yangını söndürmen gerek. Acele et! 

Miranda began to sing her song. All of a sudden he heard a voice. The trees began to speak. All of them were saying something in a hurry, all the voices mixed together. Miranda was very surprised. And he continued to sing his song. Wait for us in the Great Oak Forest!

Miranda and the squirrel started running towards the road by the river, singing:

Listen to my voice trees! Call me if you can hear me .. Miranda Miranda!

A tree sound was heard: Miranda, you need to put out the fire using the water and wind from the river. Hurry up!

Miranda yangın bölgesine vardığında çok geç olmuştu. Şarkısı ve ağaçların da yardımıyla yangını söndürmüşlerdi ancak durum kötüydü . Ormanın bir kısmı yanmıştı .Ormanın yandığına hala inanamıyordu. Sincap ise çok üzgün gözüküyordu. Ağaç seslerini duydu. Ama  bu sefer daha da az ses geliyordu. Çünkü ağaçların bir kısmı yanmış bir kısmı da çok üzgündü .  

Miranda umutsuzluğa kapılmak yok dedi ve hemen işe koyuldu. Yangından zarar gören canlılara yardım etmeye başladı. Sincap ailesini saklandıkları kovuktan çıkarıp ilk müdahaleleri yaptı. Yangından etkilenmiş bir kaplumbağayı nehrin kenarına taşıdı. Bir taraftandan da meşe palamutlarını topluyordu. Aklında bu ormanı yeniden canlandırma planları vardı.

By the time Miranda arrived at the fire area, it was too late. They put out the fire with the help of her song and trees, but the situation was bad. Part of the forest was burned. He still couldn't believe that the forest was on fire. The squirrel looked very sad. He heard the sound of trees. But this time there was even less noise. Because some of the trees were burned and some of them were very sad.

Miranda said no to despair and got to work immediately. He started to help the living creatures damaged by the fire. He took the squirrel family out of their hiding place and made first aids. He carried a fire-affected turtle to the river's edge. He was also collecting acorns. He had plans to revive this forest in his mind.

Miranda yardıma gelenlerle beraber yapılacak işlerin listesini çıkardı. Yaralı olan bütün hayvanlara yardım edilecek ve ilk müdahaleleri tamamlanacaktı, yardıma gelen bir grubu bu iş için görevlendirdi. Daha sonra ormanda yangından arda kalan küller süpürülecek ellerinden geldiğince ormanı temizleyeceklerdi, bir grup da bu iş için görevlendirildi. 

Miranda made a list of things to do with those who came to help. All injured animals would be helped and their first aid would be completed, and he assigned a group that came to help for this task. Later, the ashes left behind from the fire in the forest would be swept away and they would clear the forest as best they could, and a group was assigned to this task

Bu işler tamamlandıktan sonra ormandaki tüm meşe palamutlarını, kozalakları toplayıp onları el birliği ile yeniden toprakla buluşturacaklardı. Ormanın eskisi kadar güzel ve renkli olması, hayvanlara yuva olması için ellerinden geleni severek yapmaya söz vermişlerdi.

After these works were completed, they would collect all the acorns and cones in the forest and reunite them with the soil. They promised to do their best to make the forest as beautiful and colorful as before and to be a home for animals.

Şarkısını söyleyerek ormanla iletişime geçebildiğini farkeden Miranda bir yandan planladığı işleri yapıp bir yandan ormanla iletişime geçme konusunda kendini geliştirmeye çalışıyordu. Miranda bu özel yeteneğini keşfettikçe çok heyecanlanıyor içi kıpır kıpır oluyordu.

Realizing that she could communicate with the forest by singing her song, Miranda was trying to improve herself in communicating with the forest while doing the things she planned. As Miranda discovered this special talent, she was getting very excited and full of excitement

Miranda birden bir ses duydu bu ağaçların inleme sesiydi. Ağaçların ağlama ve inleme seslerini duyabildiğine kendi de inanamıyordu, ağaçların üzüntüsünü içinde yaşadı ve kahroldu. Küçücük ve masum kalbiyle ormanın tüm acılarını içinde yaşadı Miranda.

Miranda suddenly heard a sound, it was the groaning of trees. He couldn't believe that he could hear the crying and groaning sounds of the trees, he lived the sadness of the trees and was devastated. Miranda lived through all the pain of the forest with her tiny and innocent heart.

Миранда размислуваше како да ја ублажи нејзината болка и болката на нејзините драгоцени другарчиња од шумата. Како да го ублажи тажниот звук на птиците, тажниот звук на верверичките пријателки, тажниот звук на потокот кој го изгуби прекрасниот жубор и звук во природата. 

Како и секогаш таа и сега реши да комуницира со шумата преку нејзината песна. Но овој пат звукот на песната ќе биде поинаков, ќе биде исполнет со весели ноти, кој ќе ги разигра срцата на сите и ќе им даде надеж дека утрешниот ден ќе биде подобар и поубав.

Miranda was thinking about how to alleviate her pain and the pain of her precious friends from the forest. How to soften the sad sound of birds, the sad sound of squirrel friends, the sad sound of a stream that has lost its beautiful murmur and the sound of nature.

As always, she decided to communicate with the forest through her song. But this time the sound of the song will be different, it will be filled with cheerful notes, which will play the hearts of everyone and will give them hope that tomorrow will be better and more beautiful.

Миранда кога ја запеја својата песна, верверичките ги наострија ушите, желката широко ги отвори очите, птиците почнаа да летаат високо, а срцата на дрвјата се растреперија. Шумските животни се собраа околу Миранда, а нејзината песна беше толку мила, убава и весела што и сонцето со своите зраци ги погали сите жители на шумата и се насмевна.
