In the eastern black sea region horon is the symbol of brotherhood. Honestly bravery and bravery today. it is played in the provinces of Ordu Giresun, Trabzon, Rize ,Artvin, Gümüşhane and Bayburt that hard end mountainous nature of the nature made the local people active

 Horon is the general name of traditional  folk dances played in the eastern black sea region.

Folk dance played by 3-12 people in Anatolia.Halays take different names according to the characteristcs of the people of the region the accompanying instruments the reason for the dance the way it is played.

This folk dance belongs to Erzurum.It  is named as "Bar".People called "Dadaş " performe it.It is perfomed by people's holding their each hands.

Halay is played by arranging a group together and forming a circle. The dancers hold on to each other with their little fingers. The leader, who is at the head of the group, waves a handkerchief with his free hand. The dance starts with slow steps, then accelerates after a while. Halay steps are generally based on foot figures. Halay is played with music played with drums and zurna.
