Commumication
Many old traditions and customs that add value to our lives in the technological age we live in are about to disappear. The first example of these changes would be spending one-on-one time with our loved ones, listening to the memories of our elders and benefiting from their experiences. Nowadays, we spend our time surfing in the virtual world instead of real conversations, leaving ourselves stranded by the pleasure and pleasure of one-to-one togetherness, and we stay away from socializing. As technology develops, cultural and social change, intergenerational conflict and communication gap are experienced.
Although young people feel free after a certain age, they choose to live independently and think that they can make their own decisions. This situation is contrary to the elderly family members, when they warn the young people based on their experiences, generation conflict begins. As a result, in order to reduce the generational conflict, the younger generations should listen to the elders of the family, approach them with tolerance, benefit from their experiences, if there is a solution-oriented approach to their problems, and ignore even if it is the fault of the elders, they should have a sense of empathy. They should approach with them and make them feel loved by spending one-on-one time with them.

Today, we see that there are communication problems between the old and the young. This problem, which is a generational conflict with another definition, causes disagreements between the young and the old.
In terms of the healthy and efficient functioning of society in every sense, it is of great importance for the elderly and young people to know and understand each other and to have a correct communication. When we want to find a solution to this problem, the family factor comes first. The education, upbringing, attitudes and behaviors that a person receives from his/her family have an important place in the person’s consciousness. Cicero said it well: “The age of man depends on the

youth or old age of his soul.” The way to keep our souls young is to read books. People who read do not have problems in communication and empathy, which may reduce generational conflict in the coming years. If our young people realize that their loved ones and even themselves will grow old in the future, they will behave more respectfully and sensitively towards our elders. As my father said, one should never lose the child in them. It should not lose so that young people and children can understand it.
As Osho said, “The child in you never dies. The child is always there; it is surrounded by experiences, wrapped in adolescence, then youth, then middle age and old age,

As you know, communication is the common spiritual need of all members of society, and each of us interacts with other members of society. Each of us learns and teaches different things by interacting with other individuals. Especially, elderly individuals communicate their experiences and knowledge to younger individuals. In this way, a cultural transfer takes place from generation to generation. However, the point I want to draw my attention to is that because today’s age is the age of technology, young people know more at many points and the elder part of the society remains passive. So we did activities to improve their minds fresh, organized cultural trips and cooked various meals with

our elder partner. In this way, we have prevented the conflict between the young and the elder to some extent. At the same time, we hosted our partner in our school and played traditional Turkish games. Maybe this is how we brought our partner back to his teenage years, who knows?
Finally, with this project, we avoided this conflict and became one with our elders, running from entertainment to entertainment. “Catch The Rhythm With Youngs” means having fun, quality time and learning.

Our project partner said that the energy of the youth was like a refresh for me. My soul was rested. They tried to have a good time to entertain me. They taught me a lot, it's like I'm connected to life again.
They made me laugh, they made me feel their love. I felt loved among them. I looked forward to the days when we would meet. I went back to my childhood when I was with them. It was like my childhood was far away. It wasn't like that. My memories were very vivid, very close. We got our addresses and phone numbers from each other. Then we will try to communicate. I realized that it is not difficult to communicate with young people, and it is not difficult for them to communicate with older people. I loved the project in this sense. I understand my grandchildren and children. I understand the concerns of young people better now. It was a great chance for me to be in this project. Thank you very much to the project team.

Youngs and Elders Connection
I think there is a very strong connection between young and old people. Of course, there are differences because of a different generation. We have to learn and understand their habit and culture. If we want to learn something about that them and establish empathy with them first of all, we should communicate. Old people can be a mentor to young people. End of the communication we understand each other, inferences about their life, take lessons from them. It isn’t just for self it including for old people too. They learn things from themselves too and good for older peoples mental and physical health. This communication helps to understand people much well and provides an opportunity for both to learn

new skills. Another hand miscommunication. is pushing people apart, casting a chill over. When I met with our partner Mrs. Fadime I understand this more. How important to communicate with old people.
Our partner told us she is so delighted to involve a project like that. She is so glad because of met us, be in her old school.
Also, I am so glad to be in this project, in teamwork and met dear Mrs. Fadime.

Stories, Memories & Elders
Communication is the one of the most problem thing in our life.Especially between young and elderly people. There is a many solution for this problem. If we talk with each other we can solve something but so many times we don't do this.I think the best solution is memories.I mean when we listen their memories we can communicate easily. They had more stories, memories than us.We can empathize better if we listen to them go through.Empathize is so important for us.When we empathize each other communication is easier. The old and young often cannot communicate well because of major differences in perspective. It is natural that older people will have a more mature outlook and younger

people be more radical in their views. Young people have heard the traditional arguments for years and want to rebel, often out of naivety. Older people have the benefit of experience and and feel young people should follow their advice. This basic antagonism underlies poor communication between the generations.
The best solutions all rely on compromise. Young people ought to accept that their lack of life experience puts them at a disadvantage in understanding the world. Many of their opinions are premature and will evolve over time. This implies that they should make greater efforts to understand the counsel of their elders. Their elders, in turn, must realise that their experiences are a small sample size from a unique time period.
