Winston is a young monkey mailman that has 

to make deliveries to the citizens of Funny-

Bone City

He is only twelve but he's got plenty of spunk 

and he loves his job and he never lets the 

residents down by always delivering the 

packages he needs to on time all the time, and 

so all the residents love him

X-Intercept

In Funny-Bone City there are 5 residents 

that need mail delivered to them, that 

makes 5 the x-intercept

Winston's job isn't very hard today, he only 

has 5 deliveries to make today to 5 

different residents of Funny-Bone City

Usually he has more deliveries to make but 

for today his delivery run is light so he 

doesn't have to work as hard and will most 

likely finish work a little earlier than usual

Y-Intercept

Each person only has one piece of mail that 

has to be delivered to them so Winston has 

a total of 5 pieces of mail to deliver. That 

means the y-intercept is (0,5)

Winston's first delivery is to Gary the Ghost 

who lives in the broken down house.

Gary is very excited that his package is 

here and he responds by "OoOoOh thank 

you Winston! I'd hug you but I don't have 

arms"

Winston chuckles lets out a "You're 

welcome" to Gary, and then leaves to 

deliver the rest of his packages.

Math Concept

Slope

Every time Winston visits a resident he 

delivers their mail to them meaning that 

the slope of the line would be -1

For example after Winston delivered the 

package to Gary he lost one piece of mail 

and also visited one resident
