I look up and see the great banana tree.

“I hear other monkeys say that tree holds the best bananas ever.” I say to Alex, my best friend, he says “Yeah I wonder if that huge tree really does have the best bananas ever?"

"Maybe we should find out," I say "but what if the bananas aren't that good and we waste our time?" Alex says.

“Well it's worth a try,” I say and we start packing two sacks for the bananas. We’re both really scared, but we have each other for company so it's less scary.

The climb up was really scary. I had to remember not to look down because the tree was taller than any tree I have ever climbed. We grabbed all the bananas we could carry in our sacks and then started on our way down.

Going down was less scary. Alex and I were on the ground sooner than I expected.
