Before you purchase a baby musk turtle, make sure you have everything you need to house it. You will need these things:

-Minimum 20 gallon long tank

-Hatchling turtle pellets, bloodworms, mealworms (dried or alive), ghost shrimp, snails, and other crustaceans

-A UVB bulb and a basking bulb ranging from 25-50W

-Aquatic plants or fake plants for hides

-Provide a basking dock

-Filter

-ReptiSafe (water dechlorinate)

Now that you have your setup, you can put your baby musk turtle in the tank and observe. 

You should feed your baby musk turtle twice per day. They are growing turtles, therefore they need to eat more than an adult would.

Because the tank for the baby musk is small, a 25% water change should occur every week. There are harsh chemicals that we cannot see in the water, therefore it is essential to upkeep the water.
