Geometric Progression

Once upon a time a brave Prince fought with a lion and rescued a beautiful young woman. The woman was a Princess.
The king, father of princess came to know about the braveness of prince. The king called him offered him a reward whatever the prince wished for. He offered the prince anything in his kingdom.

The Prince saw the chessboard in front of the king.
The Prince was good in mathematics.

What I expect is very small. I desire to have 1 grain of rice on the first square of this chess board,10 grains on the next square,10^2 on the next square,10^3 on the next and continue this process up to the 64th square and give me the sum of all grains.
The King laughed at him thinking that whatever was asked will amount to very small quantity of grain and agreed immediately.

But do you know how wrong the king was ? In fact that much amount of grains was not available on the entire earth.
How much rice did the Prince get if one grain of rice weighs 10 mg?
In this example we have
1 grain on the first square i.e.t1 =1.
10 grains on the second square i.e.t2=10
10^2 grains on the third square i.e.t3=10^2 and so on.
Thus we have the sequence 1,10,10^2,10^3,.......
