Dedication to Mikey da hooper G

Once there was a boy named david. He was the youngest in his family and he took care of the sheep.

One day a prophet named Samuel chose david to be the king of Israel. David would replace Saul the king once he died.

There was once a battle between the philistines and David’s people called the Israelites. They were about to fight when they decided each of their best warriors would fight eachother

Israel had to pick their best warrior. Everyone was scared of Goliath. Even king Saul. The only one who offered to fight him was David.

Saul offered David his armor but it was too big for him. David said he had the Lord to defend him. David chose a sling as his weapon.

As David prepared for battle, he went down to get his rocks for his sling. While he was down there he prayed to God for protection.

As David was walking back to the fight, he could hear Goliath taunting him. But he had faith in God, and God was loving. God loved him so much that he would protect him in battle and David would win.
