Hokkaidō, Japan. The mountain
range is made up from the
Daisetsuzan Volcanic Group and
the Tomuraushi Volcanic Group.

rising 4951 meters;16,244 ft. above sea level,
and is located south of Bamyan, Afghanistan.

pick up a black stone you will be amazed of
how heavy it is.

Lake Baikal is a rift lake in the south of the
Russian region of Siberia, between the
Irkutsk Oblast to the northwest and the
Buryat Republic to the southeast.
Lake Baikal is the deepest lake in the world
reaching a depth of 1,620 meters!

The Sea of Marmara, an extension of the
Mediterranean Sea, separates Asian Turkey
from European Turkey and separates the two
continents.
It contains two island groups; the Marmara in
the southwest and the Princes' in the northeast.

Niigata Plain is located in
Japan. It is also known as the
"City of Water."

Russia. One of the greatest
rivers of Asia, the Ob flows
north and west across
western Siberia into the
Kara Sea of the Arctic
Ocean.

The Tibetan Plateau is surrounded by massive mountain
ranges. It is a vast, elevated plateau in Central Asia and
sometimes called "the Roof of the World" and is the
world's highest and largest plateau, with an area of
2,500,000 square kilometers (970,000 sq mi) (about four
times the size of France!)





Quetta is known as the Fruit Garden of
Pakistan, due to the many fruit orchards in
and around it. It also has a diversified
plant and animal wildlife.
Quetta is at an average elevation of 1,680
meters (5,510 feet) high, making it
Pakistan's only high-altitude major city.
