Figure skating is so great and fun.   Figure skating is 

so great because it's been around for a long time.  

Another reason is it was in the spotlight and that 

means it's a good sport.   Last but not least, figure 

skating is a wonderful sport because everyone works 

together to get the job done.   Figure skating is a 

really good sport.

The history of figure skating.   In the early 1860's a 

man named Hains created a new combination of 

music, ballet, ice skating, and dancing.   It wasn't well 

received in his country.   So Hains took his 

revolutionary ideas to Vienna, Australia where they 

flourished.   The ice competition has 3 parts: a 

compulsory dance, an original dance, and a free 

skate.   Hains was really creative when he created all 

these sports.

Figure skaters have really nice outfits.   I think 

the figure skaters have really nice outfits 

because they look so cute.   Second of all they 

have pretty designs.   Last they are really 

colorful. Figure skaters outfits are cool.
