Mercury is the closest planet to the sun. It has the most craters of any planet in our Solar System, and doesn't have a single moon! This planet is also the smallest planet in our Solar System.

Venus is said to be the scariest planet, because every part of it can kill you in an instant! This planet is the second planet to the sun, after Mercury. It is the hottest planet, even though it is not the closest to the sun.

Jupiter is the fifth planet from the sun. It is the fastest spinning, and biggest planet in our Solar System. Like Saturn, Jupiter has rings that are only visible from behind the planet. They are made up of mainly dust particles.

Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun. It could float in water, because it is made up of mostly gas. This unique planet has 82 moons. It's largest moon is called Titan. The rings are not solid. They are made of ice, dust particles, and pieces of rock.

Uranus is the seventh planet from the sun. It is the coldest planet at - 353 degrees Fahrenheit. This planet has 27 moons. It's biggest moon is called Titania.

Neptune is the farthest planet from the sun. It has massive storms with high winds, and was the last planet to be discovered. It is the smallest of the Ice Giants. This planet has 14 moons, it's largest is called Triton.
