Who built the ROM?
Those three men built the ROM museum. Frank Darling (First picture from the left) and John A. Pearson (Middle picture) both first constructed and helped construct the original ROM museum. Then, Daniel Libeskind comes along and constructs the Michael-Lee Chin crystal.

What's the Michael-Lee Chin crystal?
The Michael-Lee Chin crystal was an attachment to the original ROM museum. Why is it called the Michael-Lee Chin crystal? Well, one of the major donors of the crystal was a Jamaican-Canadian businessman, Michael-Lee Chin! He donated $30 million dollars!

What materials were used to make the ROM museum?
The building itself is made out of bricks and terracotta. The crystal is made out of glass and aluminum cladding strips. Almost 3,500 tons of steel and 38 tons of bolts were used to make the skeleton and about 9,000 cubic metres of concrete was poured.
