In a small town during early October, families love to go and visit Patterson's Farm each year for their family fun fall fest. 

A father and his two daughters were home on a fall Saturday, bored wondering what they are going to do today. 

Dad decided he wanted to take his young daughters to Patterson’s farm where there is a pumpkin patch. He wanted to get his daughter’s pumpkins, but there is more than just that.

The girls were excited to go to the pumpkin patch at Patterson's farm. They have heard stories about the family fun fall fest, considering this is their first year going.

When the family got to the farm both girls noticed all the families that were there, and they were just overwhelmed by what was surrounding them. 

Ivy and I’Lana wanted some hot chocolate, and dad wanted apple cider.

When finished both girls noticed the hayride, the farm animals that were there, the pumpkin patch, apple picking, the corn maze, the cotton candy stand, and a playground. Dad wanted to get to the pumpkins before the good ones are taken, but the girls had other plans. 

The two sisters wanted to play on the playground, but dad said, “let’s get the pumpkins first, then play”. 

But Ivy and I’Lana quickly ran for the playground. They ran, they yelled, and they screamed along with the other children. They went from the slide to the swings, to the jungle gym, and back to the swings. They played tag, and they ran around some more, making friends with everyone.
