I don’t know why I chose this book! The last time I tried to read it, I hated it. I couldn’t understand anything! It's going to be too hard for me!

That was a long time ago! Even though it might’ve been too tough for you to read then, you might find that you are capable now! What made you pick up this book today?

It’s about space and I want to be an astronaut. It looked interesting, but now I’m not so sure.

Maybe you can give it one more try. It’s okay to abandon a book if you need to, but sometimes I like to make sure I’m giving the book a fair chance.

It helps when I reread a few pages whenever I get confused, especially if I feel like I might’ve been distracted while reading the first time.

You might have better success with it today. I’m sure you’ve grown and learned so much in the past three years!

I have an idea: Let’s sit and read a few pages of this book together, and then we can decide if it’s the right fit for you today. We can even reread whenever we need to.

You’re right. Maybe I was just distracted and thinking about how I failed to read the book three years ago. I have learned and grown so much since then! I can totally read this book on my own.
