One upon a time, there was a little girl named 

Lexi. She was a very smart, caring girl. But 

she did not like a lot of things. When Lexi 

didn't like something, she would through a fit! 

She would kick and scream if her mom wanted 

her to eat something she didn't like. 

One day Lexi and her mom were cooking 

dinner. Lexi loved helping her mom cook 

dinner. But, then Lexi realized that her mom 

was cooking the thing she hated most. 

Broccoli. 

Lexi then started freaking out. She started 

kicking and screaming that she didn't want to 

have Broccoli for dinner. But her mom told her 

that she had to stay at the table until she 

finished it all. 

The next day when Lexi and her mom went to 

the store all that was left was Broccoli to eat. 

Lexi told her mom she was next going to eat 

again, but she knew that wasn't true. 

Something was wrong, why was there only 

Broccoli?
