Herbert is a boy and he is fourteen. He had no idea that he was going to be a spy. Someone weird picked him up from school. It was a different person in the car but it had the same parent pickup tag. When he got in the car he asked who he was. He said he couldn’t risk anyone hearing him and that they had to wait until they got home. When they got home, he said, “My name is Jasper. I am 47. I know you’re parents and you’re going to become a spy.” Herbert's mind was blown.

Herbert said, "This isn’t like a spy hideout at all!"         "Oh this isn’t one. You’ve been living with a secret subway in your basement. You’ve never token the time to go see it? It leads to the most secret hideout in the world, in the middle of nowhere." Jasper said.

    As they got on the subway, Herbert's parents joined them. They waited about 5 minutes, then they arrived. Herbert's mind was blown again.

    He'd never seen anything that big. The spy hideout was taller than 10 skyscrapers and wider than 15 mansions! He walked inside. He noticed that there were other teenagers who were also spies there. They were all about 15 or 16 years old. As they walked around, Herbert's parents led him to his room, number 207. When he walked in, he realized why the place was so big --- all the training facilities were in one room! He thought he would try out the gadget system, but then Jasper told him he needed to try the Tae Kwon Do Squad. Jasper said it was by the cafeteria. He guided him.

     By the next few weeks, Herbert was a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. After that, Jasper said it was time to try out the gadget system and his Tae Kwon Do practice would pay off. 

    First, Jasper taught Herbert how to use a bunch of the gadgets. Herbert's favorite was the CEP. CEP stands for commander earpiece Whenever he needed help, he would click it, and Jasper would get on it. He put on the virtual reality mask, and had to use a couple of roundhouse kicks and double jab crosses. He had to fight a couple of bad guys. They were armed and looked like Halo from the video game.

    Herbert went bed after that. In the morning, he had a breakfast burrito from Sonic and a vanilla Dr. Pepper. After that, he started doing a gadget training squad. He had to do more than what he was used to. After that, he got to go to his first mission. He got sent to San Francisco, CA. His job was to grab the safe from one of the baddest bad guys in town...Mr. Frederick! Mr. Frederick has even been able to pass the security of Area 51, and he was able to get the experiment of the briefcase, U2. Herbert got sent to California to get the briefcase and the safe with a million gold bars in it.

    At the secret spy facility, there was a secret traveling technique. If you ever see Odd Squad, it's basically the same thing...tubes. When he got there, he noticed that Mr. Frederick had a lot of security, so he clicked on his CEP, and said, "I gave you a teleporter on your uniform. I'm going to teleport you a security code breaker." Herbert broke the code. Then he noticed that the next trap was lasers. He clicked on his CEP, "I am going to send you a taser. Tase the wires and you should be good to cross." Before Herbert crossed, he asked, "but what if they are self activating lasers that are invisible?" 

    Jasper said, "I forgot about self activating lasers! I'll teleport you a popsicle stick. You can throw it. If it gets blasted, I will give you IS." IS stood for Item Sight, which are glasses that you can use to see invisible things. 

    Herbert threw the popsicle stick. When it landed there was a hole in it. He clicked on his CEP and said, "I need IS!" Jasper teleported the IS glasses to him. Herbert put them on, and used his stealth skills to dodge the lasers. That was the last trap. When he opened the door, there he was...Mr. Frederick! Mr. Frederick hadn't noticed him yet.
