The Philadelphia Eagles are by far my favorite football team.  Every week my dad and I watch the games on Sunday.  I have never been to a game but I have always wanted to go see the Eagles play in person.

I have a surprise for you!

What is it?

One night, when watching the game, my dad said to me, "I have a surprise for you!" He pulled an envelope out of his back pocket and handed it to me.  "What is it?" I said.    I tore it open like it was a Christmas present.  It was two tickets to the Eagles!  Not only was it tickets to a game, but it was against our biggest rivals, The Dallas Cowboys. I couldn't believe it. The day could not come soon enough.

It was finally the day of the game!  It wasn't set to start until 8:20 pm but we arrived at 4:30 for a pregame tailgate.  Some of my dad's friends were also there.  We parked at the Sixers and Flyers stadium, cooked hot dogs, listened to music, and partied in preparation for the big game. Fans were yelling and screaming different chants.  It was so exciting. I was counting down the hours until I got to see Jalen Hurts and the Eagles.

It was finally game time.  It was my first Eagles game and it was against our division rivals, The Cowboys. The Cowboys were announced first.  When they came out of the tunnel, they were showered with boos, from the ruthless Philly crowd.  Next, they announced the Eagles.  They came running out of the tunnel and it was like nothing I had ever seen. The stadium erupted, fireworks shot off in all directions, and the Philly crowd was rocking.  The game was set, and we were ready for a show.

The Eagles won the coin toss and we chose to receive first. The Cowboys kicked a touchback and we started our first drive at the 25-yard line.  We started marching down the field. Miles Sanders was running the ball and when we decided to run a pass play, A.J. Brown showed why he is a top receiver in the NFL, making ridiculous catches.  We had the ball on the Dallas 12-yard line.  It was 3rd and 8.  We ran a play and the defense got to Hurts. He scrambled out of it and ran it all the way in, bouncing off the defenders and scoring a touchdown!
