One day, a little puppy showed up on the front porch. Her collar said her name was Mabel.

Oh wow! A puppy!

Woof Woof!

They immediately became best friends and the small puppy grew bigger and bigger every day!

On a sunny Saturday afternoon, Maggie and Mabel went outside to play their favorite game, fetch.

It was a perfect day until Mabel saw something from behind some trees and took off!

Mabel! Come back! What is it?

Woof Woof!

Maggie ran as fast as she could, chasing after Mabel, until she reached a cave. I really don't want to go in there, Maggie thought, but she knew she had to go after Mabel.

Mabel come out!

All of a sudden, Maggie heard a loud yawn and Mabel came running out, behind her came a dark, very large shadow.  

Mabel what is that behind you?

Behind Mabel, followed a huge scary dragon!

AH! It's a dragon, run!

But Mabel didn't run away, she just stayed and wagged her tail, apparently, Mabel and the dragon were friends!

Woof Woof!

So, Maggie and Mabel headed home, and their new friend tagged along behind.

I hope Mom doesn't get too mad, hopefully, we can keep him!
