Meet Carol. Carol is a married woman in her 70's. She has raised two daughters with her husband, Gerry.
Carol and Gerry are enjoying their retirement together. They particularly making snacks together and discussing the litigants on Judge Judy.

The Call to Action
Recently, Carol has noticed that Gerry has been losing weight. He seems more tired than usual and grumpy as well. Though he insists he "feels fine", Carol believes differently. Gerry refuses to see a doctor, so Carol knows she must step in.

Refusal of the Call
Carol becomes very stressed and overwhelmed. She doesn't know if she can handle her husband's illness on her own.

Meeting the Mentor
Carol orders her husband to the doctor. When he refuses an appointment she schedules an appointment and tells him it's just a yearly well check up, even though it was really an appointment to order tests to figure out what is wrong. The doctor (mentor) orders a series of tests to find out what is causing the nausea, upset stomach and drastic weight loss.
