Let's take a closer look at some of the plants I have discovered...

This is a tomato tree I found in my grandad's garden. He got the seeds from a magazine packet and started to grow them in his greenhouse. They grew and grew every day until it was strong enough to plant them in the soil. Now it is summer, and we can pick them to put in our salads.

This is lavender. It smells amazing and is usually surrounded by swarms of bees. They collect nectar from the lavender and make honey with it. It smells sweet and fresh and is easily spotted because of its bright purple colour. My mam loves the smell, so sometimes on my way home from school, I collect it in the park.
