I dedicate this to anyone who is dedicating their time to reading about my adventures.

Entry 1
This is my journal, where i plan to document my adventures, alongside the publishing of the stories of my travels. I have decided to write more personal accounts of my journeys in case someone decides to find interest in my life.
For a little background I am marco polo, I am currently in Genoa, circa 1298, I am a trader from Venice, and i have a wife and a son. I was born in 1254, into a family of merchants, but once i reached the age of 17 in 1271 I set alongside my father and uncle for long travels along the silk road to china.
Entry 2
Residing in present day china, me and my family are welcomed by Kubli Khan, into the emperor's palace. Solely because we were the first Latins to arrive here, we are treated with feasts and honoured greatly, Kubli Khan asks us many questions in which we always have answers for and he frequently requests our presence but today he decided we were worthy enough to be his ambassadors to the pope, asking us to accompany his officer, Khogatal, on a mission to rome.
We have begun our journey and approximately 20 daYs have passed and Khogatal has fallen very ill in the city of alau, sadly we decided it was best for us to leave him behind. Before our departure we were granted a royal tablet
from the Khan, which is basically a vip passport, which is making our a lot of our journeys runs smoother. Yet, i don't think it wil do us much good fighting off the harh, cold weather conditions we’re experiencing.
Entry 3
The pope is no longer alive. We arrive in acre by sea from laiassus, after three years time, we have only been discouraged by the news granted by M. Tebaldo de' Vesconti di Piacenza, a legate the pope had appointed, that he has recently passed. Our journey here feels like a waste, we cannot fuffil Khan’s wishes if he is no longer alive. I’m not sure if he will be pleased with us. After advising us to stick around and wait for the election of a new pope to fuffil Khan’s wishes we’ve decided on visiting our family in Venice.
Now i am stricken with grief after discovering my wifes death. Although, I am blessed with a 19 year old son who has taken the name Marco. I plan to stay here for a while, since the postponing of the election but I do not want the grand Khan to think we don’t plan to return. So we plan to set back to acre eventually, taking my son this time.
Entry 4
As we are returning to the Grand Khan, we came to a minor halt in jerusalem to obtain some of the oil belonging to the lamp of holy sepulchre, per the directions of the Khan. Yet as we begun our departure, the legate announced his own rise as the new pope and sent letters to the king of Armenia to announce his election and call for our immediate return so that we can at last fuffil Khans requests. The king sent his own ambassador to give congratulations as well.
We arrive back, and are greeted with respect from the new pope.I am relieved at fnally succeeding Khans wishes, yet my adventures have yet to come to an end. He gifted us letters, many expensive presents, and many vases of fine crystals to present to the Grand Khan in his name. He also sent us along with two friars, Fra Nicolo da Vicenza, and the other, Fra Guielmo da Tripoli who will accompany us in our travels back to China.
Entry 5
Although injured, we pass the borders of Aremnia. in our arrival back through Armenia we were frightened at horrible news. The soldan of Babylonia, which goes by the name of Bundokdari, had overcome Armenia and great armies had overrun the country. The two friars who were sent to accompany us, refused to proceed, fearing for the their saftey and lives. Although, we were determined to return back to china and did not hesitate to continue our travels throughout this land.
Little did we know that our travels through Armenia weren’t the biggest of our worries. We arrived back to Khan in his new city, Clemenfu, but our journey wasn't easy.
We crossed many hot deserts and many dangers until we reached a direction between North and North-east. This allowed us to recive the intelligence of Khan’s new home. We were determined to get there no matter the conditions, yet during the winter months we had little progress to show for. It was apparent that the Grand Khan was aware of the lack of traveling we’d accomplished because he decided to aid us in our fatigue. The Khan sent forward to meet us in a place that would only take us forty days to travel and gave forthorders for comfort to be provided to us in places. that we would pass through. With his assistance we finally made it back to deliver his gifts.
Entry 6
Our hardwork feels like it was all paid off. The Khan welcomed us back honourably and with high respect. Per his request, we spoke to him of all our travels and our accounts with the Pope. we laid before him all his gifts, and took the oil to be preserved with religious care as he praised us for our work as his ambassadors. I introduced my son the Grand Khan as his servant, which he then enrolled him as one of his attendants of honor. With our return, he held a great feast to celebrate us. The Khan honoured us over his own courtiers, the adversity and the long journeys we had embarked on were worth it in the end.
Entry 7
I want to return to venice. It has been many years that I’ve resided here as an ambassador of the Grand Khan. I learned to read and write which made me very useful and I traveled to countless places documenting my travels, new cultures, ideas, and practices to report back to Khan. I became of such a high honor to him, that it ignited jealousy in other noble men. I have delegated all my time and safety to Khan and I am now requesting his approval for my travels home. Yet, he seems very displeased with this request. Sad almost. I don’t mean any disrespect but with his aging I would like to travel before the death of Khan so that our travls can have our safety is ensured.
Yet as he declines our persistence to return home he left us no choice but to resign from his service. Yet before we departed
he made us promise to return to him after we were satisfied with our visti back home, and with that he gifted us the golden tablet once more to ensure our safety in our journey.
Entry 8
After long travels by sea, in the winter of 1295 I finally arrive back in the beautiful Venice. I give all my glory to God who allowed me travel here safely and for saving me from all the immediate danger i have experineced in all my travels. I am rich with health and wealthy and accompanied by my family and although i have many more journeys to go on and a lot more encounters with danger. I will end this journal with what I consider to be a peak in the peace of my adventerous life. Thank you to whoever took a few minutes to read a small portion of my life.
