The year is 2003 and the best vacation of all time was about to start. 

That's me!

We left early in the morning. My little sister and I were still asleep in the cabin below. My dad drove our boat, my grandpa drove my grandparent's boat. 

We motored from one island to the other. My sister and I always getting to choose where we wanted to sleep. After the first week, though, grandma and grandpa were going to head home while we continued on for another week. 

I didn't want my grandparents to leave. We were having so much fun. The day before they were going to leave us they gave us a great surprise. They were going to stay!

We finally got to a port with a pool and it was amazing. Grandpa got in the pool with us and was throwing us all around. 

Finally, it was time to go home. We got back on our boats and made the trek home; twenty years later, and it still holds up as the best vacation ever.
