There lived a girl named Haidao. She also had a sister Nerida. Their mother died when they were both very young. They didn't have much memory of her. Haidao always wondered why she was named pirate and her sister mermaid. She always found that unfair that she could also wear colorful dresses as the ship's color code was black . She also hated it she could keep a nicer pet other than a parrot. 

One day she decided to ask her father. But when she was asking they spotted a treasure chest. So her father became very busy. She decided not to ask him now. When they saw the treasure was safe, they send Nerida with her diving costume to touch the jewels so she becomes the first one to touch it. 

Haidao knew she was going to touch it as there was a rule in their ship that when any treasure is found Nerida will be the first to touch it. There were many weird rules like this such as Nerida will always have her meal first and only after that others can eat. After they put the chest on their ship, Haidao wanted to ask her father why Nerida always had way more importance than her.

When she was about to start, Nerida cut her off saying "Dad when are we going to sell this treasure? I want to meet my friend Fia". "Yes we are going to sell the treasure tomorrow morning" said dad. "Yessss...." said Nerida. Soon morning came, my father sold it to the other ship's captain. While Nerida and Fia were busy playing.
