Chapter 1 – Descendance

    The new school year has arisen, wondering the new challenges shared upon them as the time goes on. Excitement occurs for the new upcoming students to experience the delight and aspirations that their new school shall give to them. 

              For the remaining students however, there is always that bittersweet relationship with the school. And, sometimes, emotions get involved against the problems that we face.

              “A man that is smart, can also be ill.
               A man that aspires, tends to go downhill.
             They try to advance….”
 

“Darn it, I can’t think of a proper sonnet...”

“Eh, I’ll return to it later in the future.”

Chapter 2 – Disaster Awaits…

     “Everything’s good so far…” Thought of the man that is piled up with the school requirements…

    “Yes, yes. Everything’s okay, don’t worry about it.” Thought of the man that is constantly being pressured with various activities…

    “No, you got this, okay?” Thought of the man that is now anxious with everything provided to them…

    Despite everything, one stays optimistic and tries everything in order to satisfy their needs in their academics. One strives in order to fulfill what they wish to become: To become a leader in its batch.

    However, every motivation and every action always come with its drawbacks…

 “I got a 39/40 in Science… I am so dumb I should’ve learned more.”
 The man’s got a near-perfect score in their test, yet was dissatisfied with the results. 

        Hello everyone, welcome to my presentation…”

The man continues to recite, yet made horrendous mistakes on their end. 

        “Even though I am failing, there’s always a way to improve in the future, don’t worry self, you got this.” 

        … 
        “No.”

        “I respectfully disagree, you made the worst presentation in your life, do you know anything about life or what?”

   
         “What are you doing, that’s literally the dumbest thing you’ve ever said in your life.”

         “I don’t like this, why did you do that?”
         “Who in the…” …
         

        The man consumed with intrusive thoughts, continues to blindly love themselves.

    “Hey, did you even learn anything at all? Or what are you trying to do?”
 …
 “Oh shoot, it’s already 12:01AM???”
 The man’s pressured like a boiling, does not realize that their physical health is in shambles. 
 

The man… their external feelings, is deteriorating in its solidity.

And the final nail in the coffin… Learning without understanding.

    They even expected to gain a high score and was overconfident with their willpower, yet when they actually submitted their test, they got the most unexpected score in their life…

                “Huh… what-"

                “Wait no way… just, no way…”

                “WHAT IS THIS SCORE?”

                “I don’t believe it…”

    The man’s disappointed of their score once again, but this time, it was different…

    They realized something, at the back of their mind, that they will never progress in their life again as they already reached their peak. They just cannot exceed regardless of the intensity of their learning. They began to wonder about success and how it’s only the chance of luck. They began to obscure in their paths and they began to wonder about their future… 

              And, that future is spiraling down, into the abysmal hole that will break their bones and will never heal again until the end of time…

“OH RIGHT! I want to continue my sonnet!”

“Where was I…”

“They try to advance, but they always fail.
 Ambitions failing, relentless sadness…
 …Torn apart as their minds go corrupted.
 They try to strive but they fall to their death
As their glimpse of sight will turn to blindness…”

    “That’s enough for today.”

Chapter 3 – Limitless Rumination

        “Life is full of nonsense. Everything’s pointless. I don’t know what to do with my life….”

        “God, please help me cause I don’t know what I’m supposed to do with this burden that I have.” Whispered by the man that was desperate and hopeless.

      Due to their experiences, the man wanted to do something: they wanted to write something on their notebook.

He wrote these:
 

          “Sometimes, life can be messy. Whether we like it or not, there are always adversities that we encounter in our lives. This is our society anyways; life is messed up and there’s no one that shall help us with the problems that we are experiencing today. It’s painful to think about everything but there’s nothing that we could do about it.”

        “We people are describing ourselves as nothingness and we just live in order to die. We humans are nothing in this mother earth that we live in. We do not belong in this world since that we just make problems and we are the cause of destruction on every action that we do. No, I do not believe in changes. No, I do not believe that we are the ones that shall advance this society and the environment. No, there is nothing, we are just a pile of monsters that ruins the livelihood of other creatures and the beautiful sceneries. I don’t believe in advancements nor improvements; I believe in nihilism.”

        As the man curses and hates themselves more, the more one sees the insanity that one bestows upon them. They began to write more about this infuriation and every single negativity that were experienced against them. They began to wonder about their mistakes, their dreadfulness, and their pain inside of them as they continue to reflect their experiences in their academics…

        They constantly tried to ruminate about everything and themselves constantly ruining their academic experience and causing them to regret their persistent optimism that contributes to their willpower to improve.

    Then suddenly, they began to shatter… shattered like the vase that was dropped down into the ground. They began to break... broken like the pieces that seems like it cannot be fixed any longer. And lastly, they began to isolate… isolated like the pieces left by a scared kid who broke the beautiful vase.

    The grief that they are experiencing was certainly overwhelming. As if the world was colliding and there’s nothing that we could do about it…

        Nothing that we could do about it…
