Christmas in Australia
In Australia, Christmas is celebrated during the summer holidays ! Children have thir summer holidays from December to Feburary. Australians also decorate their homes with "Christmas Bush" which is an australian plant with white flowers that turns a deep, shiny red at christmas time.
Christmas In India
In India, people decorate their homes with colourful, folded paper stars. Instead of having traditional Christmas trees, a banana or mango tree is decorated.
Santa Claus also delivers presents from a horse and cart. He's known as "Christmas Baba" in Hindi.

People in the USA celebrate Christmas similarly to the UK and Ireland due to it's multi-cultural nature. Italian-Americans families have a big Christmas Eve meal with different fish dishes.
