It's time to be thankful 

for all things so dear. 

My name is Emma

I'm going to share with you

what makes me so grateful.

The weather is shifting from warm to cold. 

The leaves are drifting down to the floor. 

Our hats and scarves will keep us warm. 

It's a time to be thankful for our shoes and clothes.

I go with my mom to ALDI'S grocery store. 

We fill up our cart but there's still room for more.  

There's so much to choose from, I can't pick just one.

It's a time to be thankful for all the good food, especially pizza and vegetables too.

Dad took my brother Eli and me to Wellington Zoo.

We saw the gorillas and big elephants too. 

The lions and tigers make a big roar!

It's a time to be thankful for all things so cool

like animals, bugs, and sea creatures too.

We arrived at the library where I feel at peace.

With so many books, I chose one with ease.

"The Giving Tree" is my favorite book.

The boy and the tree made each other happy.

It's a time to be thankful for the stories we read.
