Hi. My name is Amélie, and I'm going to tell you about a story. It's called How To Love.

This is the town of Rules. Dull right? Well, the town of Rules LOVES rules. And, they HAVE improved, but in the 1900s, they were horrible! They were known for their rules of how to love, who to love and why to love.

But someone thought differently. Meet Guinevere McGuire. She lives in the town of Rules, but her mind is full of bright, creative things. And she HATES rules.

When Gwenny was told to write a school essay on-you guessed it-rules, she wrote about her favorite art pieces. When she was told to read about the town's book on how to love, she brought a book about puppies. She was the rebel of imagination. People talked about her everywhere, and soon enough, Gwenny and her parents had to move farther away from the village.

One day, Gwenny decided she needed to do something about the way people were told to love, so she organized a protest. She had a sign she carried around.

It read:

Be yourself! Don't do what they tell you! You don't have to listen to their rules! Love how you want!

Her protest did have an effect, and several people started doing what Gwenny had said. They kissed and hugged, they laughed they had breakfast at 8:00 a.m. instead of 9:00, and so much more!

But then the mayor caught on. And his daughter, Rae, the school bully.
