Rose the cat fled the house when Brandon left the door open three days before Christmas. Brandon searched for Rose every day but was unable to locate her. The girl would weep over their pet at night. As a result, when their parents inquired about their Christmas wishes, they simply started getting another cat. Brandon's heart ached to see Rhylee and Callie feelings of sadness. Therefore, Brandon would search for Rose every day unsuccessfully.

Brandon despises seeing Rhylee and Callie in such sadness two days before Christmas. He made every effort to uplift the girls. They even bake cookies and decorate the Christmas tree. They still remain sad. A mother cat gave birth to a litter of kittens one day. The mother cat placed the kittens into a dry and cozy shelter on a chilly wet day. A kitten was lost by her. When the young kittens went in search of their mother, she was unable to locate her.

Brandon and his mom went out to look for kittens for the girls one day before Christmas. They visited all the pet stores in search of kittens. They had no luck, though. They searched and searched, but they were still unable to locate a kitten for the girls. The day before Christmas Eve, Brandon was returning home walking after seeing his friends play basketball. He observed a tiny kitten. He kept the kitten, brought it home, and then showed it to his parents. They gave the kitten some warm milk and took it to the veterinarian to be examined to make sure it was all right. 

 Brandon handed the kitten to Callie and Rhylee as their Christmas present on Christmas morning. Callie and Rhylee give Brandon hugs and kisses. They were overjoyed. The kitten was given the name Bella. Bella, Brandon, Callie, and Rhylee all lived happily ever after.
