It is important to help children remain as healthy as possible. According to Groark & Song (2012),
Parents of ill children often have to miss work and incur costs
to provide treatment to ill children. Thus, disease prevention should be a top priority of center staff. Early educators can establish
practices and policies that promote health and prevent disease in the day care setting (Chapter 6.4, para. 2).
This story will provide some information and tips to help children stay healthy!
