This is Tiny Town. Today is the first day of school 

for all the big and little animals. There are a couple 

of animals nervous for their first day of school.

The kids were waiting for the bus to arrive. 

"Hi" said Callie the Cat. 

"Hi!" exclaimed Max the Dog. 

They got onto the bus. Max and Callie sat right 

next to each other. 

"Are you nervous for school?" asked Callie.

"Just a little, what about you?" questioned Max.

"Yeah," said Callie.

"I hope that everything is going to be fun," said 

Max. 

"My Mom said that Kindergarten is supposed to be 

a lot fun" Callie said thrilled.

"My mom said the same thing!" exclaimed Max. 

"I told her that I was really nervous, and she said 

the there is nothing to be nervous about," Callie said. 

They got to school and went right to their 

classroom. 

"Okay, class let's get started by going around the 

room and introduce ourselves," said Mrs. Flyster 

the Tiger. Max started and then everybody else 

went. They were all really nervous when they said 

their names.  

While Mrs. Flyster was helping Lilly, Max and Callie were 

talking to each other. 

"Do you like kindergarten so far?" questioned Callie. 

"I really like it, what about you?" Max asked

"Yes, I do!" exclaimed Callie. Then the teacher came 

over.

"So, what are we talking about?" Mrs. Flyster 

asked. 

"Um......" Max said unsure. 

"We were just talking about how much we love 

school now" Callie said with a smile on her face. 

"Oh, okay! So what do you think of school?" asked 

Mrs. Flyster. 

"I really like it," Max and Callie said at the same 

time. 

So the class went to the carpet and talked 

about what they thought about there first day 

at school.

"I love Kindergarten! It is so much fun!" Lilly the 

Elephant said.

"I thought today was going to be scary, but it 

wasn't," Robby rabbit said happily. "I really liked 

learning how to write my numbers,"

"I did too!" Lilly said excitedly.

"Well, I'm glad to here that you guys like school!" 

Mrs. Flyster exclaimed. "So what do you think about 

your first day of Kindergarten Max?"

"I....I really liked today, it was a lot of fun," Max 

announced.

"Well, that's good. What about you Callie?" asked 

Mrs. Flyster.

"I thought today was a really awesome day!" Callie 

exclaimed.

"That's good. Now how about we all go outside," Mrs. 

Flyster said.

They all went outside and played. Callie and Max played 

a little game of soft ball. Lilly and Robby played a game 

of hide and seek. They all had fun enjoying the fresh 

air.
