Once upon a time, there was a widowed nobleman, who married a woman with a haughty, unpleasant temperament he had never seen in the world. She has two daughters just like her. The husband also has a gentle and kind stepdaughter like no other. She resembles her mother, a virtuous woman.
Just after the wedding, the stepmother immediately expressed her irritation. She couldn't stand her good qualities, for it made her daughters all the more obnoxious.

She made her do the heaviest household chores. She had to sleep in the attic, in the granary, on a shabby haystack. Meanwhile, the sisters have their own rooms, plank floors, stylish beds, and head-to-toe mirrors. The little girl only patiently endured but did not dare to complain to her father, because she was afraid that her father would scold her, because her father was completely controlled by her stepmother.
When the work was done somewhere, she often sat by the fireplace on the ashes, so in the house called her Cinderella.
One day, the prince had a dance party. The girls in their hearts are excited, all day busy choosing clothes to suit people. Another new hardship for Cinderella, as she had to iron and fold the sleeves of her sisters. In the house, only hear talk about how to dress:
After winning the best outfit, the two sisters hurriedly walked away. Cinderella followed her gaze for a long time, until she could no longer see that she began to cry.
The fairy godmother saw her crying, immediately appeared, asking why.

She used pumpkins, mice or other animals to make a beautiful carriage for her, plus a tall, elegant charioteer and a pretty horse transformed by animals.
The fairy just touched Cinderella's body with her magic wand, and her clothes turned into a gorgeous gown, inlaid with glittering gold and silver. The fairy did not forget to give Cinderella a pair of the most beautiful crystals in the world.
Before leaving, the fairy told Cinderella: not to stay at the ball more than twelve o'clock at night. If you stay a little longer, the cart will become a pumpkin, the horse will become a mouse, the servants will return to a rat, and the clothes will be the same dirty clothes as before. Cinderella obeyed. Go, rejoice.

The prince was very attracted to her, and as soon as he saw it, he rushed out to meet her and lead her into the living room in front of everyone. All were silent. The guests stopped dancing, the violins fell silent, everyone stared at her beauty.
The prince invited her to dance with him. She danced so gracefully that everyone admired her. Evening supper was served, but the prince did not taste anything, he was just absorbed in looking at the beauty. Cinderella approached the two sisters, graciously talked, invited them to taste the marmalade and lemon jam that the prince gave her. This gesture surprised the two sisters, because they couldn't believe it was their Cinderella.
