When I wake up in the morning and my mom makes me breakfast, this is a way she shows her love. She shows her love by providing an act of service.

Good Morning honey! Here's your breakfast. I love you!

When dad drives me to school he talks to me and makes jokes, this is a way he shows his love. He is showing it through quality time.

At school, I got a 100% on my test! My teacher said "I'm so proud of you!". This is how she shows her love, through words of affirmation. 

At recess, I fell on the playground and really scraped my arm.

My teacher sent me to the nurse. She cleaned my cut, put a band-aid on it, and gave me a hug. She showed me her love through physical touch.

On my way home from school I was so tired and was so ready to be at home. I had a bad day and I don't know what could make me feel better. 

When I got home my mom was waiting for me at the door. She could tell I hadn't had the best day.

She brought me to the kitchen and there was a gift sitting on the counter. 

SHE GOT ME THE DOLL I WANTED!! I am so exited and I know my mom got me this gift to show her love after my bad day.
