Hi! My name is Omar, and I am here to tell you about the time I learned a very valuable lesson about stealing. 

I was in kindergarten one day when I noticed my friend Mia forgot her eraser on the table. Instead of telling her she forgot it, I decided to take it. It was scented and smelled like cupcakes, I could not resist taking it and keeping it for myself.

At first I felt excited because I had something new to call my own. That was until I saw Mia the next day. She was sad and when I asked her what was wrong, she told me she lost her favorite eraser. I immediately regretted what I did.

I felt so sorry for stealing from Mia, so when I got home I told my mom about what I had done. My mom explained that what I had done was really bad. She told me, "You should not do to others what you would not like done to you." We decided it would be best to return what I had stolen and say sorry.
