What is climate change?
Global climate change refers to the average long-term changes over the entire Earth. These include warming temperatures and changes in precipitation, as well as the effects of Earth’s warming, such as:
Causes of climate changes
Generating power: Generating electricity and heat by burning fossil fuels causes a large chunk of global emissions.
Manufacturing goods: Manufacturing and industry produce emissions, mostly from burning fossil fuels to produce energy for making things like cement, iron, steel.
Cutting down forests:Cutting down forests to create farms or pastures, or for other reasons, causes emissions, since trees, when they are cut, release the carbon they have been storing.
Using transportation:Most cars, trucks, ships, and planes run on fossil fuels. That makes transportation a major contributor of greenhouse gases, especially carbon-dioxide emissions.
Producing food :Producing food causes emissions of carbon dioxide, methane, and other greenhouse gases in various ways, through deforestation and clearing of land for agriculture and grazing.
Powering buildings : Globally, residential and commercial buildings consume over half of all electricity.
Consuming too much: Your home and use of power, how you move around, what you eat and how much you throw away all contribute to greenhouse gas emissions.

After passing the first test, I found out that the score of my carbon footprint is above normal, it is 10,6 and this fact worried me a little bit. Consequently, I need 4,2 Earths for filling all my needs, and this is also a high number.

In the another test, I discovered that my ecological footprint is equal to 7.2 tonnes, this is a not huge difference with the first test, where it was 6.9 global hectares. On the level of consumption, it seems that the food and the stuff has a big importance and usage for me, whereas home is on 3rd place, and travelling on 4th. In the first test the prevalence stands also for food and travelling.

Here is my result from the first test. As we could see, it is true that food and material goods represent a large part where the expense is going and where the consumption is above normal.
In conclusion, I consider that I should change my personal food habits and choose in a more organized way the quantity of products, but also the quality, even though it is hard to find something 100 % natural in markets. My family also has a big impact, therefore, we should all start thinking and doing something about all the amount of food that is thrown, all the plastic bags that we use and all the economies that we could make if our consumption will be more balanced. Talking about the goods, the best option is to buy only necessary products and to limit the quantity of materials that would simply cast-off in the closet. Also, as we don't recycle stuff, it will be nice if we try this.
