Egyptians natural resources
Egyptians natural resources were the Nile river because the Nile provided them with food like fish and transportation and an annual flood that fertilized the land for good growing crops. Another natural resource was copper which was used for making agricultural tools such as hoes and sickles, as well as cookware, dishes , and artisans tools such as saws , chisels , and knives. More natural resources are limestone and sandstone which were both used for the same purpose which is both were the main building stones in Egypt so they were both used to make structures in Egypt. Salt was also a natural resource in Egypt and it was used for cooking and was edible so it was put in food.

Flax was another natural resource which was used for food and its healing purposes. they also used Flax to make things like clothes. Reeds were also a natural resource which used for making things too like boats and papyrus. Gold was also a natural resource which was used for jewelry.

Mesopotamia natural resources
Mesopotamia's natural resource was the Tigris and Euphrates river because the rivers provided them with water and agriculture irrigation and major transportation. Another natural resource is mud which was used for building Mesopotamia's structures. Timber was also a natural resource in Mesopotamia and it was used to build things like ships. Metal was also a natural resource in ancient Mesopotamia and was used to create weapons or tools for agriculture. Reed and clay were also natural resources in Mesopotamia and was used for writing. clay would be the item they write on and reeds were the tool they wrote on clay with.

Mesopotamia V.S. Egypt
Natural Resources
Mesopotamia and Egypt both use there natural resources to help them like both use the rivers they are provided with for food and water, travel, agriculture. But both have different natural resource too. that they use like Mesopotamia has the natural resource of mud and they make there houses out of them. But for Egypt they have the natural resource of limestone and sandstone which is what they make there houses out of them. Egypt has some natural resources that Mesopotamia doesn't have like salt and limestone and sandstone.

Egypt Architecture
Egyptians made their houses out of cane and clay. They would create the frame of their house with cane. Then would use clay to coat the frame. But some would combine clay and cane and put it on wooden frames and was left to dry in the sun. They would also use the dried mud bricks to build their homes. But they also had to find a way to build cult structures. The Egyptians believed in the after life so they had to create a way to protect the deceased from damage and grave robbers. So then they created Mustapha's they were flat roof structures made of adobe brick that stood 20 or 30 feet above the ground inside contained chapels. Where the deceased stuff and their prize possessions were in there. Then they were 30 meters down in their chamber. Mustapha's were put together to make a necropolis. Then the first ever pyramid was created it was made out of limestone and mortar. Then since they were running low on materials they decided to give pyramids a break
and move to temples. Egyptians began creating structures to honor a specific god. Temples were designed with columns to hold up stone and slabs were laid on top to create a roof.

Mesopotamia Architecture
Mesopotamians used mud bricks to make most of their structures. Ziggurats were pyramids with enormous steps with a temple on the top of the steps. Terracotta pipes were used as a window. Mesopotamians used archdomes and vaults for Ziggurats. Mesopotamians uses mud for their walls windows. Ziggurats looked like step pyramids. They would have any where from 2 to 7 levels or steps. Each level would be smaller than the one before. Typically the ziggurat would be square in shape at the base. Ziggurats were made of mud bricks.

Mesopotamia V.S. Egypt
Architecture
Both Egyptians and Mesopotamians would use mud bricks to build their
structures. But Egyptians would use more material in their structures like they would use adobe brick and stone and slabs. while Mesopotamians mainly use mud bricks. Both Egyptian and Mesopotamians structures protect something. For example Pyramids protect decease from getting stolen or robbed. While the Ziggurats protect people from floods because of its height it would be shelter for people when it floods. so when it floods the Ziggurat will protect the people from dying from the flood because its so high it will prevent people from getting in the water.

Egypt's Religion
The religion of ancient Egypt was vast and multi-faceted. In ancient Egypt, religion incorporated practices and beliefs. Religion was based on the concept of universal harmony between people and their gods, emphasizing gratitude and relying on magic personified by the god Heka. Heka was the underlying for their religion. He has the power to make the gods to preform there functions and allowed people to commune with their gods. Religion was completely embodied in to Egyptians lives and informed in every feature of their daily routine. Some popular deities had temples. While some other popular deities didn't have temples. They worshiped gods by having religious festivals and they were a part of the daily lives of the Egyptians. They even had smaller festivals celebrated by towns or honor lesser gods. Their religion was strongly influenced by tradition which caused them to resist change.

Mesopotamia's Religions
The ancient Mesopotamians worshiped many different gods and goddesses. Mesopotamians thought that the gods influenced much of what had happened to them in their lives. Babylonian and Assyrian religion was heavily influenced by the Mesopotamians. Each city had it's own god. At the center of the city was a ziggurat or temple built to the god they were with. The temple or Ziggurat was where priests would live and make sacrifices. Mesopotamians would not attend regular worship devices. But at personal shrines where they would pray to and honored the gods. They were offered sacrifices at the temple, and gathered for festivals in the courtyard of the temple complex but did not enter the temple for any kind of service. Priests interceded for the people with the gods and delivered divine messages for the community.

Egypt V.S. Mesopotamia
Religion
Both Egyptians and Mesopotamian's worshiped many different gods. They even had festivals to honor the gods. But Mesopotamian's had temples or ziggurat's for all their gods. While Egyptians didn't give some gods temples. Both Mesopotamian's and Egyptians had religion a lot in there life. As in they had religion all there life. But for Mesopotamia each city would have its own god. While for Egypt they had to honor multiple gods in a city.

Egypt's Writing systems/Writing
Ancient Egyptians used hieroglyphics to write. Some of the symbols represented sounds, like our letters, and other's represented entire words. It took years of education and practice to be able to write hieroglyphics. The ancient Egyptians often wrote on tablets or walls. But they were able to make papyrus what they also written with. Papyrus paper was made from a tall reed like plant called papyrus. The Egyptians would use strips of the inner stem of the plant to make the paper. They would make two layers of strips; one horizontal and the other vertical. Then they would cover it in a linen cloth and apply pressure with a mallet or stones. The strips would bind together over time making a single flat sheet to write on.

Mesopotamia's Writing systems/ writing
Ancient Mesopotamians used symbols to write. Mesopotamians wrote on clay tablets. They would use a Stylus which is made out of a reed and would press lines and symbols on the clay tablet. Then when they are done writing, they would then let the clay tablet that was written on dry up and harden and then its permanent. The initial writing of Mesopotamians is utilized simple pictures or pictograms. Mesopotamians would also connect the symbols together to create words and names. The style of Mesopotamians writing is called cuneiform which means wedge-shaped all the symbols are made up of little wedge marks.
