Hi, my name is Jack and these are my friends Bob and Dom. “Hey, you forgot about me!” Oh, he is Don, my other friend. Today me and my friends are going to try to find a yeti. “Mom!” I yell, “I’m going to go hang out with my friends,”

“Ok,” Mom says, “just be careful.”

Then mom talked with me about keeping everyone safe, and it took a million years!

When I get to Bob’s house, Don and Dom are already there. “Hi,” I say. 

Bob says “Get ready to find a yeti!” 

Don says,  “I have my phone so we are good.”

Dom says, “We have jacks smarts so he can get us home safe.”

Then we walk out of Bob’s house and into the woods. 

Fact: The tundra is the coldest place on earth.

After we go into the forest they start by looking for footprints. As we move farther into the forest I realize that we are lost! “Guys, we are lost and we have to find a way home,” I said. Don said, “Remember, I have a phone. I’m going to call my dad to see if he can get us.” So Don calls his dad to see if he can find us, ring, ring, “He said that he can’t find us because we are lost,” said Don. Then Dom said, “Great, now we are going to be stuck here forever!” Fact: The tundra is a desert because it gets less than 10 inches of rain yearly.

“Oh no, there is a blizzard coming!” said Don.

 “We have to find shelter,” I say.

“Oh great the phone died and we are going stay here forever” yelled Don

“We have to find shelter quickly!” said Bob.

“Or we could build one,” said Dom 

“Or one of us can find a stream or a creak to lead us to a house or the ocean,” I say 

Fact: A blizzard is a significant snowstorm that is affecting many people.
