Jake and Jackson were organizing a day when they hung out when Jake arrived at Jackson's house. Jackson asked, “Hey you want to walk in the hills?” .

Jake responded, “yeah sounds fun”. And as they climbed the foothills Jake thought about why didn't they add more things to do at school.  Jackson was thinking about his little brother's first day of school tomorrow. It would be his first time. They heard ba noise and looked down. Then they find the bird. They are so shocked as to why a peregrine falcon is here laying on the ground. When they saw the bird trying to fly away, they realized the bird could not fly. 

    Jake asked Jackson “Should we take the falcon home?” 

    Jake answered, “ I think that's the only choice if we leave him here. I'm afraid that he will just die because he can't fly”. 

Jake and Jackson said, “all right we are taking him home”.   They grabbed the bird carefully and surprisingly allowed them to grab him which was great.   easier for them when they got home.

    Jackson said "should we tell our parents or just call the ranger” Jake answered by saying,“ Well, we have to tell mom and dad and call the ranger because these species are endangered.” 

     The next day the ranger came to pick up the peregrine falcon Jake asked the ranger “will he be okay”
