Highway thought he was destined to roam.

He wished everyday for a cozy warm home.

The type of home where his worries are few.

The people are kind and a yard with a view.

When quite by chance.

All alone by a fence.

Was a child in the woods.

Well, this didn't make sense.

It was then he decided to venture about.

To get a little closer.

To figure this out!

He scooted on his belly 

right next to a tree.

There were voices and laughter.

"Hmmm!" What could this be?

A family was building a structure right there.

But should he approach or should he beware?

He gathered the courage to make himself known.   

He had to have faith!

He needed a home!
