There once was an American man called Paul. He was thirty years old. Paul was lazy so he never felt like doing anything and that’s why he became a sedentary person. He spent almost the whole day sleeping or procrastinating. Instead of going to work or doing house chores he chose to stay in his bed all day. Paul was having some sleep problems, so because of that he was having some nightmares and would wake up a lot of times during the night.
He was always late for his appointments and he spent the whole night on his mobile phone to pass the time. Even when his friends tried to invite him for a party or to do some other activities he always refused. He lost a lot of friends and became distant from his family because of his erratic behaviour brought about by his lack of sleep.

His friends told him he had to change his lifestyle, but he didn`t listen to them. Time passed and he continued to stay anchored in his routine, sleeping all day and spending the nights on the phone.
One afternoon, when he was going to th15e supermarket to buy some groceries, he met Michael, his old friend. They haven`t seen each other for a long time and now, here he is, in front of him on the sidewalk.
``Hi, Paul! How are you?`` said Michael.
``Hi, Michael!`` said Paul and he passed by him without stopping.
``Hey, I just had a gym class and I want to go to buy a bottle of water. May I accompany you? The store is in the same direction.`` said Michael.
``As you wish!`` answered Paul, muttering something unclear.
They walked aside for a few minutes.
``You used to be a brave and friendly young man. I remembered this very well. No matter what happened, I want you to know that I am here for you.``

I want you to know that I am here for you!
... ???
- Here for me? I am good alone! I don’t need anyone else, I have my bed, my phone, and that’s enough! Thank you for all the moments we spent together, but now, I’m different. said Paul.
- What happened to you? You are really different, but in a bad way… You used to be such a funny person. You were one of my best friends. Everyone is so worried about you! You just disappeared from our lives, but I don’t know how, I found you! You can’t spend the rest of your life playing video games or sleeping all day. You have a job, a family and friends that really like you.” said Michael.
“I’m sorry, I need to go…” said Paul running from his friend.
“Call me if you need something!” shouted Michael from the other side of the street. After his conversation with Michael, Paul was confused. He realized that his life had changed a lot in a few weeks.

He turned into his worst version!
“Maybe it's time to change…” thought Paul. But, he had a problem. He became so addicted to his phone that changing to a normal and healthy life will be the hardest thing to do.
