Chapter 1
Kim loved her 9 to 5 job. She came in, wrote her article for the "The Paw",
and then went home. "The Paw" was a reputable magazine that was a cross-
breed of "Ranger Rick" and "National Geographic". Her job paid her well,
so she didn't mind working in her cubicle everyday.
Kim was just about to finish her article on the habits of nocturnal Galagos,
when her boss came in. He told her that El Nino was moving in on the coast
of Australia, near the Tasman Sea. The sky would be filled with hundreds,
upon hundreds of different birds that fluttered amidst the warm winds. He
asked Kim if she would like to go and do a special report on the birds, since
El Nino only happens every seven years.

Chapter 2:
Kim thought it over for a while. She would love to see the birds, but
she did not like planes. "The Paw" is located in Virginia, which
means that Kim would have to fly nearly six hours to reach Australia.
She declined the offer later that day. It was just not worth the risk to
see all of those birds, which included Blue-footed Bobbies, Frigates,
Flamingos....

Chapter 3:
Kim left work with a kink in her heart. She loved animals! Her whole life
was about animals! How could she just walk away from that opportunity?
Kim's household included two snakes, two dogs, two cats, two turtles, and
one lonely parrot. She went up to his cage to let the poor guy fly around a
bit. Kim kept talking to herself; saying over and over again, "Why didn't I
go, why didn't I go?!". As if by chance, her parrot tells her "Go!". Kim stops
and says, "What?". Once again her parrot croaks, "Go, go, go!".
It's amazing what a little advice will do--intentional, or not. The very next
minute, Kim called her boss and told him that she had a change of heart.

Chapter 4:
One day later she was at the airport. All she could hear was planes
taking off and the dozens of people with her in the ticket line.
Everything was overwhelming to Kim. Thankfully she took a couple
pills before she left the house.
The flight attendant was scanning her ticket, while she contemplated
being thousands of feet above soil. Then Kim remembered what her
parrot told her, "Go!". She walked into the corridor that led her to the
plane. Soon enough she was sitting in seat E12, a nice window seat.
