Once a long time ago there lived a lovely elderly woman in a house of candy. She was usually inside enjoying the warm fire, and living her best life.

She was doing the usual when she heard a loud crunching noise outside. She then went out to explore what in the world could be causing that noise. 

There were children eating at her house! But she was trying to be polite so she said "Hello Dearies it's getting late, I can escort you to a warm meal before you get going."   "Okay!"  The children yelled, pushing and shoving.

She treated them to a nice meal and they ate it like ravenous wolves! They begged for dessert without even thanking her for the meal. But, on the bright side they liked her food.

While the witch was making dessert, she asked Gretel to feed her chick. So she did.

But when Gretel was feeding the chick, the cage door slammed shut. Gretel was stuck and the elderly lady was cooking in the other room, she did not hear one peep.

Gretel! Did the evil woman put you in there? I will take care of that witch for you!
