Piazza Cavalli is a beautiful square in the center of town which dates back to the Middle Ages.  

On the right side and on the left side there are two horses.

The horses in the square are two with their knights.

One knight is Alessandro Farnese and the other is Ranuccio Farnese, his son.

Palazzo Gotico is in Piazza Cavalli, it is beautiful and it is the symbol of Piacenza.
