The Snail’s Daydream

    One day a little snail named  Bobby was in bed on a little leaf. He was tired and fell asleep. He had a dream about when he was a little kid. This is how it went. When  he was very little his parents got food for him every day for every meal. They also slide down hills on a leaf after breakfast together.

     One afternoon Bobby’s parents were getting him food. The parents always go together because it is easier to get food. He was waiting for his parents to come back. It has been hours  but they never came back. Bob was very scared all alone in the morning. He thought they abandoned him. But that wasn't right. Bob's parents loved him. Then he thought they were in danger. He thought to himself, “that is not good”.

 A while later Bob traveled to a guy named Kevin who taught him how to be a detective. Bobby learned so much from Kevin. The next day Bobby and Kevin were training and a storm hit. They took cover where Kevin lived. But the lightning shot the house Bob, Kevin and all the other items in the house collapsed. Thankfully Bob and Kevin were okay.  They got back to training when the storm was over. They practiced escape rooms. They 

    also worked on solving hard clues.

     By the end of the day Bob left and went back to his home to make sure it was okay. Bob layed down and fell asleep. That was when Bobby woke up and was in a cage. He was in a car headed to the pet store.

Questioning

    Bobby had so many questions. Like how did people do this and why did they do this. Bobby thinks and thinks. He was telling himself about what happened before he had gotten captured. He was ready to fall asleep. Then he had a dream when he was very little and his parents had left him. Then there was a storm at Kevin's house. Then he thought to himself. “ That never happened when I was little.” 

    Bobby was almost at the pet store when he had finally figured out what had happened. There was no lighting, It was Bobby being picked up and loaded up into the vehicle.  He must have been a dark sleeper. Then Bobby looked around  and saw a sign that said “ Wild Animal Patrol”. He was on his way to a pet shop where people adopted animals. “ This is not good at all,” Bobby said in his head. He needs to be in the wild. not in a pet store.

    The van finally pulled into the parking lot and the men took Bobby out of the van. The men were walking into the building and Bobby was looking around the building. Bobby saw so many animals and creatures. Then the owner of the building came over and took Bobby. The man was walking to Bobby's cage right next to other snails. Bobby was thrown into the cage. The man said “ This is your new home for now so I hope you like it”. Bobby hated it.

    It was like he was going to be trapped in jail for the rest of his life. There were no leaves and nothing to drink. Then he saw two other snails that were just like him. They were two no good snails who were weird and different just like him. Bobby is going to talk to them later about how alike they are to him.  The place is not bad at all.

The Talk

    Bobby was ready to talk to the other snails. He was so nervous that the other snails would not like him. Bobby took a deep breath and went to the end of his cage. The snails looked over and said hi. Bobby said hi back. Bobby asked what their names were. The one on the left name was Loggy and the one on the right was Sobby. Out of those two Loggy was the leader. Loggy was a tough little cookie. Meanwhile sobby cries all the time. All of them laughed and laughed.

    They had been talking for hours when finally Bobby Had the nerve to ask if they wanted to be friends. Both of them shouted YES PLEASE! So they became friends. Then they talk on and on. And sobby kept crying and crying.

Later that night the owner picked up Bobby from his cage and set him in with Loggy and Sobby. They all cheered that they were in the same cage together. And guess what they kept talking and talking while Sobby was crying and crying. It was the most fun night ever.

    Around 10:00 PM the snails laid down on the hay and fell asleep. They were rolling around in their sleep so peacefully and the gardes watched them all night long. And finally he fell asleep laying on the table where the snail's cage was. They were all sound asleep in bed {the guard was on the table asleep}.

    It was finally morning when the snails woke up and saw the guard on the table sleeping. They looked around and wondered why he was there. Then a weird voice called at them. They turned around and saw that a spider was trying to speak to them. The spider said “The guard slept there all night because he was watching you guys roll around”. The snails laughed at the guard.

        Two customers came in and that's when the guard woke up and saw them.  It was a boy and his father. The boy pointed at Bobby,Loggy,and Sobby. The boy said,” I want those snails dad”. The dad said no and  that constructed an argument.

Buying bobby

    The kid cried and cried. But the dad still said no. The guard asked if there was a problem. He also asked what their names were. The dad answered and said, “ My name is Carl and this is my son Mike,”. Mike said hi. The guard repeated, “now is there a problem,”. Mike said yes but Carl said no. What is the problem? Mike answered that one. He said, “ my daddy won’t let me get the snails.” The Guard talked to the dad and said that each snail is $5. The dad finally came to a decision and said that he would get the snails for Mike. Mike cheered.

The snails cheered too after Carl paid for them. They were going to live together in a real house. They were so excited that they would be out of the pet store and in a house. Loggy was crying because he was happy. Soggy rolled around because he was happy. Bobby was just waiting to be taken out of the cage. Then Soggy and Lobby went over to Bobby as well. They all waited to be taken out of the cage. Carl had to sign papers to make sure the snails will be safe. 

    Ten minutes later they were taken out of the cage and into another so that they could be taken to the house. Mike squeezed the cage because he was so excited. It was Mickey's first kind of pet. The dad said thanks and inside their heads the snails said thanks too.

Mike and the dad headed out to the car and got in with the snails on their laps. They headed home and Mike kept talking and talking. Blah blah blah. Once they arrived home and went inside they saw they had been robbed.

Robbed

    They were looking around wondering what happened at the house. The snails were so upset that someone had destroyed the house that they were  going to live in. Lobby was crying and so was Soggy. But Bobby was actually happy. He thought that the robbers robbed the house because they knew that Bobby was going to live there. They probably stole something much more important so Bobby would not be able to get to his parents. Then Bobby started crying as well.

Three minutes later Bobby stopped crying and thought about what Kevin had taught him about solving things like this. He looked around to see if the robbers left any clues. There was not much that he saw from the cage. It was kind of upsetting that they were still in the cage. To calm himself down he talked to his friend for a little bit. It kind of helped.

    Meanwhile Mike was crying for life. Well it seemed like forever. His dad said to calm down and look if IT was still there. So Mike looked in his room where it was supposed to be. Then he screamed for life. His dad came storming in and asked what was wrong. Mike took a deep breath and said, “ IT'S GONE!” the dad said again to calm down and to look for it elsewhere.

An hour later they gave up and said it was hopeless and they probably would never find the secret thing. Then Mike said to his dad I wish the snails knew about the portal. Bobby smiled. It was a portal that the robbers had stolen. That solves why the robbers came to the house. He was so excited that he had figured out his first clue. Hooray. Then Mike had an idea. He said in his head, “I will figure out how to make a language with my pet snails.”
