
What is NAFTA? Well, in simple terms NAFTA is an agreement that made trade free for America, Canada, and New Mexico.

A little fact about NAFTA is that NAFTA stands for "North America Free Trade Agreement"
Due to the fact that NAFTA had completely lowered the costs to import products from New Mexico and Canada, it made prices at grocery stores go down.

Not just grocery prices went down but oil prices have also gone down since NAFTA
With NAFTA becoming a thing, there were also some disadvantages with it.
Some of these are
Taking away jobs from other people, increasing the the U.S. trade deficit, and much more.
Its accused that NAFTA exploited Mexico's workers. They did this by polluting the environment and destroying farms because, the Mexican farmers that were able to stay in business was forced to used more fertilizers.
Another things that NAFTA did was making a third of Mexico's labor force work in poor conditions.

With all the things that were associated with NAFTA there was good and bad. There are alot of good things about this agreement but, it came with a lot of cons that does a lot wrong.
