I'm going to walk you through
the parts of rome! Lets get started



how Roman Empire was
huge. It set it's own boundaries,
built cities, and built things we still
use today.



rome at that time were quite mysterious. There names were
the Etruscans, they took power of rome.



were built to be as strait as possible. the roads were from 31 inches deep
to 45 inches deep.

called villas. Some of the wealthy families had big homes
in places were the food was grown.

roman gods, and emperor. The Roman government viewed them
as enemies. Then, one night a fire started in some small shops
in Rome. The fire burned for nine days and left the city in ruins.



They Stole money to enrich themselves. Under These emperors,
the government and the economy fell into pieces

1. Rome was founded in 753BC by its first
king, Romulus. It grew into a rich and powerful
city during the next few hundred years
2. While Romans were extremely hygienic,
they did not use soap. Instead, to get clean
they would apply perfumed oils to their skin
and then scrape it off with a tool known as a
strigil.
3. Because there were apparently few women
in early Rome, Romulus (c. 771-717 B.C.)
kidnapped neighboring Sabine women. Most of
the girls were prizes of whoever got them first,
while a few of the more beautiful ones were
brought to leading senators by special gangs.
